We strive to make the Kossel Pro and the OpenBeam Kossel Reprap to be as straightforward and easy to build as possible. We provide all our cables pre-crimped with polarity keyed locking connectors, and we provide laser cut spacers to assist with loading the nuts into the proper spot.

For a breakdown of instructions listed by kit part number, as well as a BOM of each kit, please on this link.

The instructions below are given specifically for the Kossel Pro machine. The Reprap branch also follows the same build sequence.

# Build the ball joints first. Both the Kossel Pro and the Reprap build requires "borrowing" a piece of extrusion from the frame kit to build the fixture for building the ball joints. If you are going to be building a lot of Kossels, consider buying a dedicated length of OpenBeam to build the fixture from.
** Fixture Instructions | Ball Joints Instuctions
# Build the Linear Drive Towers next, as it requires borrowing the upper machined vertex from the Upper Triangle sub assembly for spacing the end stop holders.
# Build the following sub assemblies first; these sub assemblies require gluing, and it is a good idea to get through the gluing process, then pause / work on another sub assembly, until all the gluing is complete. For best results, allow 24 hours for the Loctite 410 adhesive included in the kit to dry / de-gas, before proceeding.
** Auto Levelling Probe
** End Effector
** Upper Triangle
** Prepare Ball Rail Carriage for Swing Arm Mount
# Build the rest of these subassemblies. These go pretty fast; they shouldn't take longer than an hour each.
** SeeMeCNC EZStruder
** Bed Clamps
# Bolt everything together for Mechanical Systems Integration and Wiring.
# Perform Initial Power Up and Shakedown Test.
