[* black] Before proceeding, you should first assemble your E3D v6 All Metal HotEnd. Follow [https://e3d-online.dozuki.com/Guide/V6+Assembly/6|E3D's assembly guide]. Stop at step 24. The steps after that will be completed as part of this guide.
[* black] Make sure that you have printed all of the [https://www.matterhackers.com/store/l/creality-cr-10-e3d-upgrade/sk/M2A21RQ3|necessary parts]. We recommend printing the mount in either PETG or ABS due to the heat it may be exposed to.
[* black] Make sure that you have the necessary nuts and bolts. These are listed in the parts list above. If you don't have any on hand you may need to purchase them from [https://www.mcmaster.com/|McMaster-Carr].
[* black] If necessary, heat the hot end in order to remove any filament from the hot end and Bowden tubing. Take any spools off the spool holder.
[* black] Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
